Appliquéd Crochet Bib Pattern for Boys ( pdf pattern for sale)

Designing this one was a challenge as it was my first time making crochet appliqués. My conventional crochet wisdom sure didn't work for this one and I was forced to think out of the box. The hardest were the tree, the smoke and you won't believe it, the wheels! The wheels when worked in a normal round seemed too bulky to be sewn on a car. I somehow managed to work my way around these obstacles and the result is here for all to see. I must also add that as the weather was rainy I couldn't get well lit pictures but I am so impatient I am just posting what I got. Thank you all for your overwhelming support for my designer bibs!

When you purchase this you get the basic bib pattern with the appliqués for the train as well as the cars and tree. Work them in sets to make a beautiful gift for that special little boy. You can make more trees, place them between the cars, experiment with colors, just let your imagination run wild. This sure is going to be a fun project.

Pattern is worked in worsted weight yarn. It includes pictures of every step to make it easy for even beginners. You need to know only the basic crochet stitches for this one and it works up really quick. The finished size of the bib is 8 1/2 inches wide and 10 inches long from top to bottom. It measures 7 inches from bottom of neck to the end of the bib. The bib is worked using hook H ( 5mm) and the appliqués with hook F ( 3.75) .

Sporty Sandals for Boys or Girls Crochet Baby Booties Pattern( pdf pattern for sale)

This was originally conceived as a boy pattern. I had to use a sport weight yarn to make the straps for the smaller sizes and the pink was all I had. I used it to check the sizing and it came out looking fabulous in the design unveiling its potential as a unisex pattern. So here is another one to add to my line of sandals, a design that will suit a boy as well as a girl. If you ask me to choose my favorite, this one will win hands down. I love the fluorescent colors, the styling, the ease with which it works up just about everything. The opening at the back of the ankle is the touch that I love most. I feel like I have really evolved with each design and this one is my best so far.

Pattern is worked in worsted weight yarn and includes 4 sizes 0-3, 3-6, 6-9 and 9-12 months. It includes pictures of every step to make it easy for even beginners. You need to know only the basic crochet stitches for this one . The pattern uses 2 shades of worsted weight yarn for sizes 6-9 and 9-12 months and worsted weight yarn and small amounts of DK weight yarn for 0-3 and 3-6 months. Use hooks H, G for sizes 6-9 and 9-12 months. Hooks H, F and D for 0-3 months and H and F for 3-6 months. Pattern is written in standard American terms.
